Meet Our Team
Josh exemplifies the principles of hard work and pride of ownership. As the President Josh skillfully oversees every aspect of the business, from managing daily towing operations and vehicle inventory, to ensuring security and leading marketing initiatives. His relentless pursuit of excellence not only drives the success of the company, but also shapes its future direction.
Fun fact: At the age of 15 Josh worked as a logger, chopping, splitting, and delivering wood for $3 an hour, along with a free sandwich for lunch. He then went on to found Payless Towing at 17 years old. Also, a lot of times you will still see Josh in a tow truck!
Christina met Josh in 1996 and together they have worked tirelessly to build the company into the trusted name it is today. Her dedication and expertise continue to be pivotal in driving Payless Towing forward.
Fun fact: Josh and Christina met at La Movida.
Clara Fitch
Clara has been a vital part of the Payless team since 2004. As the Accounts Receivable Specialist, she expertly manages all financial transactions related to vendor payments and expenses, ensuring the company's financial health remains robust.
Fun fact: Clara is known as our office MacGyver, office mom and office doctor- she truly knows it all!
Rita joined the Payless team in 2004. As the office manager she plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the business by overseeing daily activities such as dispatch, driver management, and human resources. Her prior experience as a sheriff's dispatcher, along with her management background, underscores her commitment to excellence and her exceptional leadership abilities.
Fun fact: Rita was born in Germany and shares a unique birthday bond with her twin boys, as they all celebrate their special day together.
Tim skillfully manages dispatch operations and oversees the lien sales inventory and sales. His previous role as a warehouse inventory specialist has been instrumental in enhancing his efficiency and success in this position.
Fun fact: He's a proud native of Bakersfield, and if you're from the East Side, there's a good chance you know him! Additionally, there's a bit of friendly speculation that Tim secretly knows Spanish!
Chester Huff
Chester joined the Payless team in 2023 and has quickly become a beloved fixture in the office. Chester enjoys a laid-back lifestyle filled with naps, basking in the sun, and "bullying" employees for their lunch.
Fun fact: Chester is a budding TikTok star. He has an insatiable love for tacos and possesses an impressive ability to detect the sound of a chip bag being opened-even while he's fast asleep!
